Refund and cancellation policy
Last updated September 10, 2026
This policy explains how paid plans on DealValuator are billed, how you cancel, and when Netlink Technologies (“we”) refunds a payment. DealValuator is software delivered online. There is nothing to ship back, so there is no separate returns policy; this document is the whole of it. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
The short version.
- Your first payment for a paid plan is fully refundable for 14 days. You do not need a reason.
- Cancel any time in two clicks. The plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, and nothing renews after that.
- Renewals are not refundable, with one exception: a yearly renewal is refundable if you ask within 14 days of the charge.
1. What this policy covers
Pro and Team subscriptions billed by Netlink Technologies through Stripe, our payment processor. The Free plan has no charges and nothing to refund. The pricing page and the checkout screen govern what you buy; this policy governs what happens to money after you pay.
2. How billing works
Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the price shown at checkout, plus any tax that applies where you live. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel. The Billing page shows your next renewal date, and Stripe emails a receipt for every charge. The card you used at checkout stays on file with Stripe for renewals; we never see or store card numbers.
Founding pricing, the locked rate offered to the first one hundred accounts, is applied as a discount on each invoice and stays in place for as long as that subscription continues without interruption. If a founding subscription is cancelled or refunded and you subscribe again later, current pricing applies.
3. The 14-day guarantee
If a paid plan is not what you expected, ask for a refund within 14 days of your first charge and we refund the full amount. You do not need to give a reason. The guarantee applies to the first payment an account makes for a paid plan, whether monthly or yearly, and it applies once per account. When we refund under this guarantee we also cancel the subscription and move the workspace to the Free plan. Your deals stay in your account.
4. Renewals
A monthly renewal is not refundable once it has been charged. If you would rather not be billed again, cancel before the renewal date; you keep the plan until then.
A yearly renewal is a larger commitment, so we treat it differently. If you ask within 14 days of a yearly renewal charge, we refund it in full and cancel the subscription. After 14 days a yearly renewal is not refundable, but you can cancel at any point to stop the next one.
5. Cancelling
Open Billing, choose Manage billing, then Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Until then the plan keeps working, and the Billing page shows the date. You can reverse a cancellation from the same place before that date.
We do not prorate or refund the unused part of a period when you cancel. When the period ends, the workspace moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted: every deal, report, and export stays in your account, and the Free plan’s limits apply to new work.
6. Changing plans or billing cycles
You can switch between Pro and Team, and between monthly and yearly, from Manage billing. Stripe prorates the change: you pay only the difference over the rest of the current period, and any unused portion of what you already paid becomes credit on your account, applied to your next invoices. Credits are not paid out as cash.
7. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries the card over the following weeks and emails you. Your plan stays active during the retries, so an expired card does not cut you off from your work. Update the card under Manage billing to fix it. If the payment cannot be collected, the subscription ends and the workspace moves to the Free plan, with all of your data kept.
8. How to request a refund
Email support@dealvaluator.com from the address on your account. Include the date or amount of the charge; the invoice number from your receipt is best. We answer within two business days. Refunds go back to the payment method that was charged, never to a different card or account, and banks typically take 5 to 10 business days to show them. Unless you tell us otherwise, a refund also cancels the subscription it belongs to.
9. What we do not refund
- The unused remainder of a period after you cancel or move to a lower plan.
- Monthly renewals, and yearly renewals more than 14 days after the charge.
- A first payment more than 14 days after the charge.
- Team seats you did not fill, or AI drafting you did not use. Plans are priced as a whole.
- Charges on an account closed for violating the Terms of Service.
- Fees charged by your bank or card issuer, including currency conversion.
10. Chargebacks
If something on your statement looks wrong, contact us before disputing the charge with your bank. We can usually resolve it the same day, and a dispute takes weeks. A chargeback filed on a charge that qualifies for a refund under this policy is treated as a refund request. A chargeback filed against a charge that does not qualify may lead us to close the account once the dispute is settled.
11. Taxes
Where tax was collected on a charge, the refund includes it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. A change applies to charges made after it takes effect, never to a charge already made under an earlier version. Material changes are announced in the app or by email.
